0-0-0 was an Imperial Protocol Droid during the Galactic Civil War. He was designed especially for etiquette, customs, translation and torture. He worked with Darth Vader, Aphra and BT-1. He later blackmailed Aphra into doing his bidding for his criminal syndicate Son-tuul Pride by threatening to tell Darth Vader that she was still alive.
0-0-0 was originally built as a standard protocol droid that was modified by an rogue archaeologist named Aphra sometime after the Battle of Yavin. While working for the Droid Grota, Aphra would steal the Triple-Zero personality matrix, with the aid of Darth Vader, from Utani Xane on Quarantine World III. Aphra would then implant the matrix into 0-0-0 and use it to give 0-0-0 his murderous personality. Following his activation, on Aphra's orders, 0-0-0 would activate the blastomech droid assassin, BT-1.
Geonosis[]
Vader led his new crew to the planet of Geonosis where Karina the Great was one of the last remaining Geonosians alive. Aiding Vader in his attack with the help of BT-1 they destroyed the droids that were present in the caves. They successfully stole the droid factory and later used it to create a squad of BX-series commando droids to serve Vader.
Cylo[]
Having been hired by Vader, the Wookie known as Black Krrsantan was successful in his job and brought in Vader's rival Cylo and 0-0-0 was left to torture the man. He was able to extract the location of Cyo's secret base in a nebula as well as the Emperor's plan to have Cylo create and train replacement apprentices for Vader.
