The 1.4 FD P-Tower was an anti-vehicle cannon.
Description[]
The 1.4 FD was fixed to the ground and could swivel on a base. It operated by having its laser blasts gather strength in a dish-shaped array, before being shot out a central barrel. One blast had enough power to destroy an AT-ST walker.
History[]
It was used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic in several of their bases. The 1.4 FD was used at the Battle of Hoth, where they proved ineffectual against the Galactic Empire's AT-AT walkers.
