212th Attack Battalion

The 212th during the Battle of Utapau

The 212th Attack Battalion was a battalion of Republic Clone Troopers. It was led by Obi-Wan Kenobi and CC-2224 during the Clone Wars. The Battalion later served the Galactic Empire in the years before the formation of the early rebellion.

History

The 212th Attack Battalion was formed following the Battle of Geonosis and served in many core battles of the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan took command of the battalion shortly after the begginning of the war and it took part in the Battle of Christophsis. The unit later were part of the Battle of Ryloth where they served under Kenobi. They took a small group to the Citadel to rescue Even Piell and were tricked by Pong Krell into fighting against the 501st Legion on Umbara. They ultimately teamed up against the rogue Jedi and captured him.
