Atmospheric Assault Landers, also known as AALs or First Order Transporters were Ships and Troop Transports within the First Order with the task of moving troops from one location to another. They could carry up to 20 First Order Stormtroopers.
History[]
AAL units were stationed at Starkiller Base, as well as on board the Star Destroyer Finalizer. Several transporters were used during the hunt for Poe Dameron on Jakku and the subsequent assault on Tuanul. Later, the First Order used these transporters to assault the remains of Maz Kanata's castle on the planet Takodana.
