Acklays were extremely dangerous amphibious reptilian crustaceans with six deadly claws and razor-sharp teeth native to the planet Vendaxa.
History[]
Petranaki Arena[]
An Acklay was used by the Geonosians in Petranaki Arena during the attempt execution of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. The Acklay then attacked Obi-Wan during the Battle of Petranaki Arena, where he slayed it with his lightsaber.
Poggle the Lesser's Return[]
Later during the Clone Wars, when Poggle the Lesser was returned to Geonosis, several Acklays were used in Petranaki Arena to celebrate their leaders return and their involvement in the Death Star Project.
