The Trade Federation used the original variant of the Armored Assault Tank (AAT) manufactured by one of ti's subsidiaries Baktoid Armor Workshop. These Federation AAT tanks were heavily used during the Invasion of Naboo, on the planet's plains against the local Gungan army resistance. The Confederacy of Independent Systems used another model of the tank with a blue and gray look and these tanks were used on most battlefields even though the remaining original Federation tanks were still in use right up until Order 66.
