The Battle of Bothawui took place during the Clone Wars in which Anakin Skywalker successfully destroyed General Grievous's entire fleet of Banking Clan Frigrates. R2-D2 was presumed lost in this battle as General Grievous escaped in his fighter the Soulless One.
