Brian Herring is an English puppeteer and actor who performed BB-8 along with Dave Chapman in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, and Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.
He also worked as a creature and droid performer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo: A Star Wars Story, where he also portrayed Essie and Hirang Birren in both films.
