C-3PO was a 3PO-series Protocol Droid created by Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine.
Biography[]
Early life on Tatooine and work before the Clone Wars[]
C-3PO was made by Anakin Skywalker as a boy and served Shmi Skywalker when he left to train as a Jedi. When Anakin left, "3PO" had no outer platings but Shmi finished him with silver platings.
After Shmi's death and Anakin's return, C-3PO went with his former master to Geonosis where machines in the droid factory transferred his head to the body of a Battle Droid while a Battle Droid head got placed on his body.
During the skirmish the ensued shortly after, Jedi Master Kit Fisto saw that the head and body didn't match during the battle and force knocked the droid over and a Super Battle Droid on top of him so that he wouldn't shoot the Jedi. Upon finding 3PO, R2-D2 dragged C-3PO's head and put it back where it belonged while the battle continued.
The Clone Wars[]
C-3PO served Senator Amidala during the Clone Wars who gave him new golden platings and also went on many adventures with his old counterpart R2-D2. Towards the end of the war, Anakin turned to the dark side and Padme died so her friend, Bail Organa took the droid as well as R2 when he took her daughter, Leia. C-3PO has his memory wiped unlike R2-D2. He served Captain Antilles on many missions for the secret rebellion.
Missions to Lothal[]
C-3PO and R2-D2 were sent on a mission by Bail on Lothal and met up with the band of Rebels there. Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla returned the droids afterwards.
Encounters on Tatooine[]
C-3PO and R2 were sent by Leia to escape with the Death Star plans when the Sith Lord Vader attacked her ship and they flee to Tatooine in an escape pod. They both end up caught in a Jawa Sandcrawler and are sold to Owen Lars and Luke Skywalker. After the a squad of Imperial Sandtroopers kill Owen and Beru Lars, Luke decides to go with Obi-Wan to Alderaan and takes the droids. They leave on the Millennium Falcon with Captain Han Solo and his mate Chewbacca.
Mission to the Death Star[]
The Droids prove essential in the Rescue of Princess Leia and manage to close the garbage compactor on the Death Star before it crushes Luke, Leia, Han and "Chewie". C-3PO is later present during the celebration after Luke Destroys the Death Star.
Hoth and Mission to Jabba's palace[]
C-3PO accompanies the Rebels to Hoth and then Bespin in the Falcon. On Cloud City, he got blasted and Chewbacca fixed all but the legs. Chewie was forced to carry the droid around on his back while they escaped.
C-3PO was given to Jabba the hutt and became his translator droid until Leia killed Jabba and the group got away, taking the droids as planned the whole time.
C-3PO was thought to be a god by the Ewoks native to Endor. He was present during the Battle of Endor and the celebration afterwards.
Three-pio was still active 30 years later when Luke Skywalker went into hiding having a red arm. R2-D2 had been off for many years starting from when Luke disappeared. C-3PO served the Resistance under General Leia Organa and was serving the Resistance Leaders while they commanded Starkiller Base from D'Qar. R2-D2 later awoke and a map showed the location of Luke Skywalker.
