Cin Drallig was a human male Jedi Master from Lavisar who served the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Cin Drallig was discovered force-sensitive and brought into the Jedi Temple to be trained as a Jedi. He soon became a Jedi Master. He teaches lightsaber combat to Jedi Padawans. He admired the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker for his "assertiveness."
The Clone Wars[]
During the Clone Wars, he became the head of Jedi security. He was also in charge of giving Temple Guards asssignments and they must always report anything suspicious to him. Drallig spent most of his time at the Jedi Temple, keeping a close watch. He earned the disrespectful name of "the Troll."
Mission to the Jedi Temple[]
In 21 BBY, bounty hunter Cad Bane got past Drallig's watchful eye and went into the Jedi Temple and was able to get information on Force-sensitive children that would eventually become Jedi one day. Bane kidnapped the children, but was thwarted by Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano.
Bombing of the Jedi Temple[]
In 19 BBY, the Jedi Temple was bombed by Jedi Padawan, Barriss Offee. Drallig took an even closer watch at the Jedi Temple. Soon, Skywalker came up to him and they talked about the then suspect.
Order 66[]
Later, Skywalker turned to the Dark Side of the Force and he raided the Jedi Temple. He killed Padawan Whie Malreaux and strangled Padawan Bene to death. Drallig then jumped up to duel Vader, but was killed during the duel.
Legacy[]
Later, Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda went into the Jedi Temple. Kenobi saw a security recording of Vader killing Whie, Bene and Drallig.
Behind the scenes[]
For his brief appearance in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, Cin Drallig was portrayed by prequel trilogy stunt coordinator Nick Gillard, whose name was used as the basis for the character's name. Drallig was later voiced by Robin Atkin Downes in "Sabotage," the seventeenth episode of the fifth season of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
