The Class 4 container transport was a large model of freighter used by the Galactic Empire to transport crates and containers.
Description[]
The Class 4 container transport was tetrahedron in shape and could travel through hyperspace. The vessels could pull along 126 containers in several lines behind itself. The ship was armed with a top-mounted double-barreled turbolaser battery and two side-mounted laser turrets. They were often guarded by onboard Sentry droids.
History[]
The Lothal Rebel astromech droid Chopper and the defecting Imperial inventory droid AP-5 stole one of these vessels 3 years before the Battle of Yavin.
Another transport was attacked by Hondo Ohnaka and Azmorigan and plunged into the atmosphere of Wynkathu. Losing the ship in a violent storm, the two pirates later got the Lothal Rebels to aid them in looting the sinking ship. During the job, the team got attacked by a squad of Imperial Sentry droids. The ship was taken by the storm, the droids were blown out of the stern cargo hold and the rebels escaped with a caché of proton bombs.
