The ComfortRide passenger airspeeder was a public transport model. They were part of the Coruscant air taxi group.
Description[]
The ComfortRide could carry at least 6 average humanoid-sized people, including the driver. It was an open-top airspeeder design and had a fin at the rear of the vehicle. When embarking and disembarking, the ComfortRide came to a stop next to the target platform, similar to the EasyRide passenger airspeeder.
History[]
This class of air taxi was used on Coruscant during the Clone Wars. It was used by a gang of bounty hunters and mercenaries to free Ziro the Hutt from Galactic Republic custody. When the Mandalorian Duchess Satine Kryze traveled to Coruscant to speak on behalf of her people, she and her bodyguards used a ComfortRide, which was sabotaged and crashed into a skyscraper, after the Duchess and her guards jumped to safety.
On Onderon, the Onderon Rebels organization used the ComfortRide as a rapid assault vehicle, conducting bombing strikes on battle droid patrols in the walled city of Iziz.
