An Imperial Death Trooper squad led by DT-F16 was tasked to safe guard a mega kyber crystal aboard a civilian freighter used by the Galactic Empire and to rendezvous with Captain Slavin aboard his Star Destroyer at the orders of Director Krennic. The squad was eliminated along it's commander by Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren and Saw Gerrera who were searching for answers to the rumors about the mysterious imperial weapon.
