For more events see Timeline During the later parts of the Clone Wars, the Separatist invaded Cato Neimoidia where the Trade Federation headquarters was housed. Even though the Trade Federation was unofficially allied with the Separatist, the presence of the Federation in the Galactic Senate meant that the Galactic Republic had to mount a Defense of the planet. Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano took part in this defense.

The Defense[]
In the year 19 BBY, the Separatist invaded the planet of Cato Neimoidia and the Republic sent the 501st Legion to defend. After getting through the blockade, Anakin and Ahsoka led a group of Z-95 headhunters followed by Captain Rex and Clone Troopers in gunships. They were attacked by pistoeka sabotage droids and Anakin was knocked unconcious in his starfighter. Ahsoka rescued her master by getting R2-D2 to crash the ship and jumping across to his ship from hers, she pulled him out just as the ship went off a cliff. R2-D2 ejected and jetpacked back up to safety. Ahsoka and Anakin were called back to Coruscant immediately and the defense continued without them.
