The Duel was located in the Theed Power Generator during the Battle of Naboo.

Darth Maul interrupted Padmé Naberrie's mission to capture Nute Gunray in the palace and Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi were forced to stay in the hangar and face off the Sith apprentice. Maul led them into the Power Generator during their duel where they fought on the catwalks. Eventually Maul split the two up, fighting Qui-Gon next to the reactor shaft where he managed to slam the Jedi Master in the head with his hilt before stabbing him. Obi-Wan was enraged and when he reached Maul he unleashed his anger on the Dathomirian. He was knocked over the edge of the shaft but grabbed hold part way down as Maul paced above him and his lightsaber fell past him. Kenobi swiftly jumped up, called his fallen master's lightsaber to his hand and cut the shocked Sith in half at the waste. The two halves of Maul fell down the reactor shaft finishing the duel.
Aftermath[]
Qui-Gon died of his wound following the battle but Maul survived the encounter with the Jedi, living on to face Kenobi again during the Clone Wars multiple times and then was finally killed by him on Tatooine shortly before the start of the Galactic Civil War.
