The EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate was a type of frigate.

History[]

The Nebulon-B was manufactured for the Alliance to Restore the Republic by Kuat Drive Yards. They were notably used in the Alliance Fleet during the Battle of Hoth, the Battle of Endor and the Battle of Jakku.

Some of these ships, like the Redemption, were used as medical transports, where Rebel soldiers could be treated on the move. Following the loss of his hand in a duel with Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker was fitted with a prosthetic hand onboard the Redemption.
