The Mandalorian is a live-action Star Wars television series currently being developed by Lucasfilm. This Star Wars television series debuted on Disney+ on November 12, 2019. Jon Favreau writes and executive produces the series.
Production began in October 2018. Directors include Dave Filoni, who will direct the first episode, as well as Deborah Chow, Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Taika Waititi.
Synopsis[]
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic....
