The HAVw A6 Juggernaut, also known as the clone turbo tank, was a large war vehicle used by the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire.
History[]
These large transports were first used by Clone Troopers during the Clone Wars. They saw action on the battlefields of Felucia and Kashyyyk, among others. A Republic military base on Coruscant was used as a staging area for embarking these wheeled tanks onto Republic cruisers.
After the Republic was turned into the Galactic Empire, Imperial military forces continued to use the Juggernaut tank. A Juggernaut was used by a colony on the Ghost Moon. It was left behind when the colony was abandoned following a massive volcanic outbreak. At least one Imperial Juggernaut was deployed along with All Terrain Armored Transports in the Battle of Hoth. It was damaged and discarded by its troops during the fighting. After losing their own transport, the Rebel Twilight Company hijacked this Juggernaut and used it to travel back to Echo Base from their forward outpost.
