The Home One, also known as headquarters frigate, was a MC80a Star Cruiser used as a command ship in the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It later served the New Republic Starfleet before becoming a part of the Resistance
History[]
The Home One began as a civilian exploration vessel. It was later refitted for military service and served as Admiral Gial Ackbar's flagship in the Rebel Alliance fleet.
It was Ackbar's command ship during the Battle of Endor. The ship fought against the Imperial fleet over the second Death Star and led a concentrated attack on the Empire's flagship at the battle, the Executor.
Following the end of the Galactic Civil War, the ship continued to serve the New Republic Starfleet in battles such as that over Akiva. It eventually, like it's owner, joined the Resistance in its fight against the First Order. It was one of several Mon Calamari cruisers used as mobile bases by the Resistance.
