Hondo Ohnaka was a weequay pirate who led the Ohnaka Gang during the reign of the Galactic Republic prior to the Battle of Naboo and then all through the Clone Wars, but later became a solo infomat/smuggler during the Rebellion against the Empire following the destruction of his gang at the hands of the Empire. He would usually work with The rebellion member, Ezra Bridger to help the rebels defeat and steal from the Empire, for a price. In 3 BBY, Hondo worked with the rebels in Ghost Crew to steal a squadron of Y-wing bombers from Reclem station and later also helped the rebels with his new partner and former enemy, Azmorigan. During the times of the Galactic Empire he lead a new pirate gang, which he briefly allied with the likes of a Tatooine based criminal organization led by a rebel agent named Saponza. During his time working with Saponza, Honda equipped his gang with experimental V-4X-D Ski Speeders, which Saponza handed over to the Rebel Alliance.
