The Massassi group or Massassi rebel splinter group was a rebel cell based on Yavin IV and part of the rebellion led by General Jan Dodonna. It was one of the key parts of the movement which later became the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The Phoenix rebel cell gave this cell a group of Y-wing bombers that they stole from Reclam Station and this formed Green Squadron which served in the Alliance up to as far as the Battle of Endor.
