Biography
The Invasion of Naboo

Qui-Gon Jinn saves Jar Jar's life
Prior to the invasion of Naboo he had been exiled from the Gungan capital, Otoh Gunga, by Boss Nass. Binks was out scavenging for food when a Trade Federation OOM-9 came along destroying everything in it's path and just before he was killed by it jedi master Qui-Gon Jinn saved him by knocking him out the way. Jinn introduced Binks to his padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Binks then lead the two to the underwater city of Otoh Gunga but they where arrested by Captain Tarpals, his old friend. Then they where bought before Boss Nass and his advisors. Jinn persuaded Nass to let them borrow a bongo submarine to let them get to Naboo's capital Theed. On the way to Theed they encounter a Opee Sea Killer,a Colo Claw Fish and the mythical Sando Aqua Monster. Once they got to Theed they saved Queen Amidala and some of her men and captured a ship.
They crash landed on the desert planet of Tatooine and Binks, Jinn, Obi-wan and one of the queens handmaidens went to a nearby town called Mos Espa. They went into Watto's junk shop run by Watto,a Toydarian, there they met a young slave boy called Anakin Skywalker. After failing to strike a deal with Watto Anakin took them to his home but before they got there Binks tried to eat a fresh Gorg without paying but it instead lands in local Dug podracing champion Sebulba's drink who then tries to kill him but Anakin stops it. Once they get to Anakin's house in the slave quarters they meet his mother, Shmi Skywalker, and his protocol droid C-3PO. Based on his quick reflexes and piloting skills, Jinn begins to believe Anakin is the chosen one. So Jinn makes a deal with Watto, if Anakin wins the Boonta Eve Classic he is freed and he gets the parts to fix his ship but if Sebulba wins Watto gets they're ship. Anakin wins the race and they go to Coruscant where they beg the senate to send a army to free Naboo but they don't and so they go back to Naboo where Binks reveals the Gungans have a grand army. Binks leads them to the Gungan sacred place after they evacuated there homes because of The trade Federation. After failing to persuade the Gungans to help them the handmaiden that went with the jedi into Mos Espa reveals herself to be the real queen. After a speech Binks and the rest of the Gungan army meet the droid army in a battle. After the Gungan Shield Generators are destroyed the Gungans retreat and Jar Jar gets trapped only to be saved by Chief Tarpals. The Gungans weren't fast as fast as the droids forcing the Gungans to surrender but Anakin and the rest of the Naboo pilots destoy the command ship making all the droids just shut down and letting the Gungans escape. He later with the rest of the Gungans attend the parade to celebrate freedom.
Separatist Crisis

Representative Binks in the Senate
Jar Jar, now part of the senate, began to fear as many systems left the Republic to join the Separatists. Jar Jar convinced the senate to create a army while he was representing Naboo in Padmé's absence.
The Clone Wars

Jar Jar was still serving the Senate during the Clone Wars under Padmé Amidala. He participated in the Battle of Mimban, where he took over command of the 501st Legion after Jedi General Laan Tik was killed by blasterfire. Binks also served in the Mission to Rodia, where Nute Gunray mistakenly referred to him as a Jedi since Jar Jar was wearing a cloak, and continued to serve in multiple more missions towards the end of the war. Jar Jar later attended Padmé's funeral on Naboo after her death.
Galactic Civil War
