A Jedi Knight was a rank in the Jedi Order given to Jedi who had completed their training as an apprentice but not yet become Jedi Masters. In the Clone Wars Jedi Knights acted as generals of the Grand Army Of the Republic until Order 66 when clones killed their jedi leaders.
