Joshua "Josh" Methven worked as first assistant director for the Vancouver vfx unit during reshoots of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and played a Resistance Trooper in Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi.
He has visual effect credits under various working job titles such as FX, CFX, and Crowd TD positions. The career path spawned from his early love of Star Wars and the creation of some high school fan films back between 2009-2013 that helped start the push into the world of VFX. More recent fan film works of his include the "Lost Younglings Trilogy" on YouTube that includes the highly anticipated "Fate of the Jedi" in 2018. All found under the channel name "Langleyfilm", named after his hometown.
