Karina the Great was a Geonosian Queen that was alive during the Galactic Civil War and organized her own empire of Geonosian-Battle Droid cyborgs before she was stopped and her droid factory stolen by the Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Biography[]
Last of her Race[]
Years after the Galactic Empire sterilized the Geonosian population on the planet Geonosis, Karina was saved by a Geonosian Warrior who also survived the attack named Klik-Klak, who built up a small security force of Battle droids to protect himself and the young Karina, who unborn and in an egg.
Encounter with the early rebellion[]
Sometime after this, Klik-Klak and Karina would be attacked by Saw Gerrera and his Partisan rebel cell, who was sent by The rebellion to investigate the planet's surface. Klik-Klak's droids would protect them, killing all the attacking rebels, except for Saw, who escaped.
Upon losing contact with Saw and his rebel group, The rebellion leaders, Jun Sato and Bail Organa, had the Lothal Rebels go to Geonosis and find out what happened to Saw's rebel group. The Lothal Rebels would defeat Klik-Klak's droids, rescue Saw, and take Karina. Eventually, the rebels realized that Klik-Klak and the egg he was protecting were the last chance to save the Geonosians as a race. After a brief skirmish with Imperial Jump Troopers, the rebels let Klik-Klak free on Geonosis with the egg.
Re-building an Empire[]
After his encounter with the rebels, Klik-Klak managed to find a safe place to hatch Karina, who would be unable to produce any Geonosian eggs. Realizing this, Karina would connect herself to an old Separatist Droid Factory and begin creating Geonosian-Battle Droid cyborgs, rebuilding the Geonosian Empire.
Darth Vader's intervention[]
Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Karina and her cyborg children would be discovered by the Sith Lord Darth Vader and his allies, Aphra, 0-0-0, and BT-1. The four would fight their way through Geonosis, encountering Karina in her Droid Factory. Karina would attempt to have her cyborgs protect her from Vader but would fail, as the Sith would cut Karina from the factory and steal it, allowing Vader to begin creating his own droid army of BX-series droid commandos.
