Low-altitude Imperial transports or just LAITs were an updated model of the Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry of the Galactic Empire used by the Empire. They were still in use during the Liberation of Kashyyyk. On Kashyyyk the LAITs carried Forest troopers that ambushed Chewbacca, Jas Emari and Han Solo.
