Luminara Unduli was a Jedi Master during the Clone Wars and fought against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Biography

Early Life

Luminara Unduli was born in Mirial prior to the Separatist Crisis. She was discovered to be Force-sensitive and brought to the Jedi Temple to be trained as a Jedi. She soon became a Jedi Master and was assigned a Padawan, Barriss Offee. She wielded a green lightsaber.

Separatist Crisis

Unduli and Offee were both present when in Palpatine's office when they were talking about how the Separatist Crisis might lead to war. They left after Palpatine said he must return political matters. Later, they were present in the office again when Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi was shown to be arrested on Geonosis. Both master and student were selected to be in the group of Jedi to rescue him.

The Battle of Geonosis

At Geonosis, Unduli readied her lightsaber. She fought during the ensuing battle.

Luminara got with Barriss at some point and they fought and destroyed many battle droids.

She was later in a defensive circle containing Jedi survivors. Count Dooku told them to surrender and be imprisoned if they wanted their lives to be spared. However, the Jedi refused. As a result, the battle droids continued blasting them until Grand Master Yoda came with clone troopers. Unduli got onto one of the supply ships and survived what will go down into history as the very first battle of the Clone Wars.

Battle of Kashyyyk

In 19 BBY, Luminara was sent on a mission to Kashyyyk. She commanded her clone troopers during the battle.

Behind the scenes

Luminara's original death was very different from her canon death. In a deleted animatic in Revenge of the Sith, she was still giving orders to her clone troopers when another group of clone troopers came behind her. Before she could take out her lightsaber, they shot her multiple times as she fell down dead.
