The MC80 star cruiser, or Mon Cal star cruiser, was a class of large cruisers used as capital ships by the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
History[]
Admiral Gial Ackbar used one of these vessels, the Home One, as his command ship during the Battle of Endor. About three decades later, the Home One was used by the Resistance as a mobile base.
The cruisers were used in the New Republic Starfleet and there were one or more of them above Hosnian Prime
liberty class
before it exploded, destroying all of the ships in the fleet.
