Mar Tuuk was a Neimoidian who served as a captain in the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He used his Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship to blockade the peaceful planet of Ryloth at the orders of Separatist Council member Emir Wat Tambor and Head of State Count Dooku. When a Republic fleet led by Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Admiral Wullf Yularen attempted to bypass the blockade, Captain Mar Tuuk called in four Munificent-class star frigates to reinforce him and sent against the Republic fighters and Venator-class Star Destroyers a flight squad of Vulture Droids. Skywalker however managed to crash one of his own Star Destroyers into Tuuk's Droid Control Ship and the Neimoidian captain cowardly fled the battle in an escape pod thus the Galactic Republic won and destroyed Tuuk's blockade.
