Munificent-class star frigate

Munificent-class star frigates were frigates notably used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.

Design

It could carry up to 150,000 battle droid units and were some of the most utilized ships in the Confederate navy during the Clone Wars. The Munificent-class ships were designed and created by the Intergalactic Banking Clan to help protect their profits, and some were also used by the Trade Federation to do the same.

History

Munificent frigates under Grievous's command

At least five Munificent-class frigates were given to the bounty hunter Cad Bane during his time working for Darth Sidious, but were all destroyed along with the battle droid onboard during the Battle of Devaron. Several Munificent-class ships would be used by the Separatists during the Battle of Coruscant at the end of the Clone Wars, just before the formation of the Galactic Empire.
