Ships of the fleet above Hosnian Prime shortly before it's destruction
The New Republic Starfleet or the New Republic defence fleet was a fleet of navy ships loyal to the New Republic. It was destroyed over the planet of Hosnian Prime when Starkiller Base of the First Order fired and destroyed the entire Hosnian system. The Resistance later destroyed the superweapon during the Assault on Starkiller Base.
