The Outer Rim Territories was a galactic region.
History[]
The Outer Rim was located outside the Mid Rim. It was the largest galactic region and was on average less policed than other regions that formed part of galactic civilization. Many star systems in the Outer Rim were outside of central authority, a situation that the Galactic Empire attempted to rectify by conquering territory and exploiting systems more directly.
