R5-J2 was an Imperial astromech droid assigned to the Second Death Star shortly before the Battle of Endor and was present for Emperor Palpatine's arrival on the Death Star, alongside several other Imperial personal. R5 was later destroyed during the Battle of Endor when the Rebellion destroyed the Second Death Star.
