Satine Kryze was the Duchess and ruler of the people of Mandalore and ruled with the aid of New Mandalorian government and the Mandalorian Police. Her rule would spark a new era of peace on Mandalore, up until the former Sith Lord, Darth Maul, and his Shadow Collective invaded Mandalore and took it over, executing Satine in front of her best friend and love interest, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who later avenged her death nearly twenty years later by killing Maul. Satine was also the sister of Mandalorian warrior Bo-Katan Kryze and the mother of Korkie Kryze (her son with Kenobi whom she passed off as her nephew).
