The Secret mission to Geonosis was a mission to the planet Geonosis in 22 BBY just shortly before the Battle of Geonosis and the start of the Clone Wars.

The mission[]
The mission was an attempt to rescue Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Geonosians that captured him. The mission, however, was a fail, as the mission commanders, Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, were captured by Geonosian Warriors led by Jango Fett. The other mission members, R2-D2 and C-3PO, were separated from the group when this happened, however, with R2 avoiding being caught, and 3PO being turned into a battle droid.
