This version of the Trade Federation Sheathipede-class shuttle was used during the Clone Wars by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. This Separatist Sheathipede-class shuttle was colored white and blue and had the symbols of the Confederacy, it also had three small cannons. Members of the Separatist Council Emir Wat Tambor, General Grievous and Count Dooku used on several occasions these shuttles to avoid capture by the Galactic Republic. Doctor Nuvo Vindi also attempted to use such a craft in order to escape the Republic's pursuing forces.
