T-series military strategic analysis and tactics droids also referred to as simply T-series tactical droids were units of battle droids that were modified to become more intelligent and gain the ability to calculate the odds of any combat situation quickly. They were manufactured by the Baktoid Combat Automata and most famously used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars as an attempt to replace the standard battle droid commander.
However, these droids would occasionally over calculate situations, becoming incredibly arrogant and stubborn in most combat situations. Due to these flaws, the Baktoid Combat Automata created an new upgraded version of the T-series droid called the Super Tactical Droid. Sometime after the Clone Wars, former Jedi, Ahsoka Tano kept the head of a tactical droid while serving the early rebellion against the Empire.
