The TIE/sa bomber, or just TIE bomber, was a variant of the TIE/LN fighter.
Description[]
This twin-hulled model of bomber used Proton Bombs and Missiles. It was large enough to room more than the pilot, in addition to the ordnance, which were kept in the secondary hull, to the left of the cockpit.
History[]
The TIE/sa bomber was used to attack positions of Twi'lek resistance on the surface of Ryloth. A captured bomber was used to infiltrate and capture the bombing squadron's mothership, a Quasar Fire-class Cruiser-Carrier.
These bombers were later used in an attempt to flush out the Millennium Falcon from an asteroid after the Battle of Hoth.
