Tarre Vizsla was a human male and a Mandalorian who was the ancestor of Pre Vizsla and Paz Vizsla and was the first of his people to be inducted into the Jedi Order. He created the Darksaber which became the symbol of the sole leader of Mandalore. Tarre died sometime during the time of the reign of the Old Republic and his saber was kept in the Jedi Temple until warriors from House Vizsla stole it.
Behind the Scenes
Tarre is most definitely based on the legends character Tor Vizlsa although Tor was never part of the Jedi Order.
