Thanoth was a male Human who served as one of the Galactic Empire's officers in the capacity of Inspector. He was assigned by Supreme Commander Cassio Tagge as an adjutant to the Emperor's Fist, Darth Vader, in order to help investigate the circumstances surrounding the theft of a large sum of credits by the Son-tuul Pride from a Arquitens-class light cruiser. Owing to his professional skills, Inspector Thanoth figured out both Lord Vader's involvement and his elaborate scheme, but allowed himself to be struck down, believing his menacing superior would be a better fit ruler than Emperor Palpatine if he succeeded.
